RYEKJAVIK, Iceland, Dec. 11 – Cloudways, the fully managed cloud hosting provider, today announced the availability of GreenQloud, the world’s first Truly Green public compute cloud (IaaS) and data storage service, through the Cloudways marketplace in Europe. The new offering enables users to more easily discover, deploy and manage applications on GreenQloud’s easy-to-use and environmentally responsible renewable energy-powered IaaS.
Integrating directly with the GreenQloud infrastructure and its AWS-compatible API, the Cloudways Application Marketplace provides a catalog of applications, software, development tools and deployment options, all fully pre-configured to run instantly and reliably on GreenQloud.
Once an application is deployed, automated application lifecycle management features give customers an easy way to manage the application on a continuing basis, including monitoring, scaling, back-ups, upgrades, auto-restore and more. Customers have the additional benefit of knowing their apps are running on GreenQloud’s 100% renewable energy-powered IaaS service, which can help bolster the customer’s sustainability initiatives.
