Cloud Foundry Core to Be Cloud Elements App Foundation


CENTENNIAL, Colo., Dec. 11 – Cloud Elements, a leading Cloud application integrator, today announced that it has selected VMware and its Cloud Foundry Core as the foundation for its Cloud application development consulting practice. Cloud Elements' Cloud Integration services and reusable technology Elements will be leveraged for maximum extensibility on VMware's Cloud Foundry, an open platform-as-a-service (PaaS), to enable the rapid development and deployment of cloud applications, portable to any Cloud. The company's pre-built Elements integrate common services to reduce the time and cost to build highly functional cloud applications.

Cloud Elements chose Cloud Foundry Core as its foundational platform specifically because of the immense productivity and portability gains provided to clients and development teams. Blending reusable components and open source Cloud technology with proven consulting services, the combination of Cloud Elements' solutions and Cloud Foundry's open PaaS reduces application development time and cost 50 percent or more over traditional approaches.
