CloudEnable, CumuLogic Launch PaaS Center of Excellence

CAMBRIDGE Mass., and Cupertino, Calif., June 7 — CloudEnable, a division of Cambridge Technology Enterprises and a leading provider of Cloud Management Services, and CumuLogic, a Java Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) software provider for enterprises, today are launching a PaaS Center of Excellence focused on promoting the PaaS value proposition, best practices, adoption, methodologies and reference architectures for enterprises, ISVs, and cloud providers.

The goal of the PaaS Center of Excellence is to enable organizations to leverage PaaS as the key layer of cloud computing to improve developer productivity, lower operation costs and speed up time-to-market.

"CloudEnable is focused on helping customers realize the full potential of the Cloud by eliminating the operational challenges of getting to the Cloud and staying secure and highly available there," said Arjun Chopra, chief technology officer at CTE. "We are excited to work closely with the stellar team at CumuLogic to help drive Cloud adoption."

As part of the PaaS Center of Excellence, CloudEnable and CumuLogic will offer a consultation at no charge to identify business requirements, evaluate cloud technologies, and develop a strategy aligned with business requirements. As part of the consultation, CloudEnable and CumuLogic will also help to identify applications that can be easily deployed on a PaaS and then define and deliver a whole solution to enable that.

"PaaS is critical for delivering the highest ROI from cloud adoption," stated Mike Soby, president of CumuLogic. "We are excited to partner with a world-class organization like CTE's CloudEnable division to deliver a robust enterprise-ready PaaS and services to accelerate adoption."
