enStratus To Open New European Headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland

MINNEAPOLIS, April 12 — enStratus announced today that the company will open a new European headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland. enStratus plans to hire up to 30 development, support and sales professionals in Scotland by the end of 2014. The company is currently recruiting key staff in preparation for the opening of the Edinburgh office in Q2 2012.

The new enStratus office in Scotland will join offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Auckland, New Zealand, as well as employees and partners around the globe, to support enStratus clients as they migrate to the cloud and deploy the enStratus cloud management solution.

"enStratus is excited to open our new office in Edinburgh, Scotland, to serve our expanding customer base as well as our development and support needs," said George Reese, enStratus Chief Technology Officer. "Our new European Office allows us to continue to build on our global offerings by leveraging cloud skills from around the world and providing round the clock support."

Supported by a grant from Scottish Development International, enStratus selected Scotland to establish its new European Office because of the excellent development resources, transport infrastructure, and the favorable exchange rate.

Danny Cusick, president, Americas, of Scottish Development International, said, "That a world-leading cloud computing company such enStratus has chosen Edinburgh as its European base is a testament to Scotland's growing reputation as the ideal place to invest and do business. We look forward to helping the company realize its ambitious growth plans in Scotland — driving long-term sustainable growth back into the Scottish economy."
