HyperTransport Consortium Discusses Mission Critical Cluster Infrastructure for Cloud Providers and Scalable Datacenters

The HyperTransport Technology Consortium will present "Passive Networks - Best Approach for Mission-Critical Clusters" in Session 1-201 at the Ethernet Technology Summit. Mario Cavalli, general manager of the HyperTransport Consortium, will discuss how reliability, fault tolerance and downtime avoidance are becoming center stage challenges for large scale data center power users. He will also discuss the best approach to drastically reduce these challenges through the use of open standard technology such as HyperShare.
