“The AppView Web module adds another valuable capability to the suite of PathView Remote Performance Management services with the addition of website and cloud-based application monitoring. Now, network engineers and managed service providers finally know why they are seeing slow service performance from their remote offices and client sites,” said Jim Melvin, CEO of Apparent Networks. “With AppView Web, visibility into any public or private website is available, from any remote location.”
AppView Web concurrently measures the pure network performance and detailed web performance activities from multiple locations, making it simple to identify the root cause of poor application performance, whether it is because of general network problems, traffic shaping, DNS resolution, or actual content delivery from the server. AppView Web leverages the PathView microAppliance to obtain the specific, real-time performance perspectives that are critical to end users and day-to-day business operations and productivity.
AppView Web will be featured in The Cloud Performance Center where visitors can regularly check-in to see how their business critical web-based applications such as www.saleseforce.com, www.webex.com, www.netsuite.com are performing from their various remote business locations.
