INDUSTRY-FIRST GRID COMPUTING RESOURCE GUIDE ON THE HORIZON

INDUSTRY-FIRST GRID COMPUTING RESOURCE GUIDE ON THE HORIZON

Grid Strategies Inc, a provider of strategic marketing, market relations and business development services in the HPC and Grid computing markets, has announced a milestone document to support wider spread development and adoption of Grid computing: the first comprehensive Grid Computing Resource Guide. This guide will be published in both hard copy and online versions, and will be available in the spring of 2005.

Designed for IT editors and reporters, IT decision makers, and enterprise computing innovators, the guide will include complete listings of the suppliers of Grid hardware, middleware and enabling technology; information on the leading integration consultants; and descriptions of notable installations. In addition, the guide will offer opinion and insight articles, along with descriptions of successful Grid solutions covering a range of industries, from life sciences to financial services.

Details on advertising and sponsorship opportunities are available at www.GridResourceGuide.com.

"The Grid Computing Resource Guide offers an invaluable opportunity for Grid technology and service providers seeking to get their messages to industry journalists, IT decision makers and market influencers," said Mike Bernhardt, CEO of Grid Strategies Inc. "There's a crying need for improved understanding of Grid technology and clarified implementation strategies. Grid is the most important new computing paradigm since the onset of the Internet, yet confusion stemming from marketing hype and lack of consistent definitions has hampered adoption. The guide will codify the benefits of Grid computing and clarify terminology, serving as an invaluable resource while also positioning the industry leaders."

Never before has a computing paradigm promised to be such an evolutionary IT development, yet been laced with so much confusion and controversy.

The 2005 Grid Computing Resource Guide will be the reference document of choice for:

  • IT editors, reporters and journalists worldwide, to whom the guide will be distributed at no charge.
  • IT decision makers looking to sort through the confusion in the Grid market.
  • Enterprise IT innovators developing new Grid technology solutions.

The 2005 Grid Computing Resource Guide will have an extended shelf life, offering lasting value to advertisers. While hundreds of IT journalists have expressed interest in a desktop reference hard copy edition of this document, the corresponding on-line version will be updated each month, enabling advertisers to update product and service listings and stay on spot with market hot points.

"Virtually all IT editors will write about Grid computing at some point over the next 12 to 18 months," said Bernhardt. "Hundreds of IT editors at computer trade publications will receive this guide at no charge, establishing the 2005 Grid Computing Resource Guide as the single most important reference document for the Grid computing industry."
